Amy Farfan Medina

Hi! I’m Amy and I want you to know a little bit more about who I am and why I absolutely LOVE what I do!

I have a Video Production degree from Webster University. But my love of technology and media started long before college. I joined the Media Club at my church in 6th grade and haven’t looked back since.

I started with black and white film photography, then moved into digital photography, and then on to video as the technology advanced. I don’t think I wrote a single paper in high school because I would always get my teachers to let me create a final project in video form.

Through college I went deeper into the technology and learned a lot about graphic design and video special effects and animation.

I fell in love with design and editing and that is my favorite part of the whole process. It gives me life to take raw video footage or pictures or even an idea and create a finished product that communicates a story with the wider world.

My style is generally similar to documentary style, using natural lighting in locations that are meaningful to the story we are trying to tell. I think this is the most authentic way to tell a story and I love to tell a story!
