Oscar - Week Forty Five

This week Oscar discovered Grandpa’s fire bell, the joy of selfies, how much bigger the TV is if you stand right next to it, and WALKING!

What a weekend!  Oscar has started practicing walking. Oh my gosh, we are in trouble.  He can pull up to standing on almost anything and he is starting to walk sideways while he is holding something that doesn't move or if he is on anything that moves he will just walk away, pushing it along.  He is not super stable but he can definitely walk supported on his own now.

We had a pretty low key holiday weekend because Jose and I were off work on opposite days - such a bummer. We still heard a bunch of fireworks in our neighborhood.  And we both got lots of quality time with Oscar.

He wasn't feeling super great on the 4th but he did go to the art museum with Jose on Friday and then we all went to the Science Center on Sunday.  The Art Museum was chill and great for napping.  Oscar took in most of the art by osmosis.

The Science Center was much louder but was more fun and interactive.  At the Science Center we got to see Sue the T-Rex and play in the Discovery Room!  The Discovery Room had a crawling corner that Oscar loved! We loved it too because it was all padded and soft and had lots of toys that were perfect for him to play with! So fun! And now that Oscar is good at standing, he is immediately trying to climb.
